The Osprey Hygiene Sling supports the trunk while leaving the lower body clear, so clothing can be adjusted and personal care carried out while the user is supported by the hoist.
Adjustability
Sizing must be careful, because an access sling that is too large lets the user slip downwards. Attachment type and loop configuration are matched to your hoist before ordering.
Safety and Care
An access sling holds the user under the arms and around the trunk, leaving the legs unsupported. It requires assessed trunk and head control, and that assessment should be revisited as conditions change.
