Flexi Sling Osprey
- Divided leg sections
- Multiple loop positions
- Seated or reclined
- One sling two positions
Comfort and Build
The Osprey Flexi uses divided leg sections and multiple loop positions, so the same sling produces either a more upright seated position or a more reclined one depending on the loops attached.
Adjustability
Shorter loops at the shoulders produce a more upright position; longer loops produce a more reclined one. The combination for each transfer type should be set by assessment, not by preference.
Safety and Care
Different carers using different loops means the user is positioned differently on every transfer. Record the agreed combination on the care plan and on a card kept with the sling.
Suitable For
The Flexi suits users needing an upright position for a chair transfer and a reclined one for a bed transfer, care settings where transfer position varies, and users whose tolerance changes with fatigue.
