The Osprey Bathing Sling is a mesh sling for bath and shower transfers. Its open weave drains and dries quickly, where a solid-fabric sling would hold water, stay damp and degrade.
Adjustability
Attachment type must be checked against the bathroom hoist specifically, which is often a different unit from the bedroom hoist. Sizing follows the manufacturer’s chart as with any sling.
Safety and Care
A wet sling is more slippery against wet skin and the user can shift inside it during the lift. Position carefully, lift slowly, and check position before the lift takes full weight.
