Comfort and Build
Newton Wheels are replacement rear wheels available in spoked and composite configurations. Rear wheels set rolling resistance, chair weight and hand rim position relative to the shoulder.
Adjustability
Wheel diameter, axle type and axle length must all match. Decide tyre type before ordering: pneumatic rides better but punctures, while solid removes punctures at the cost of rolling resistance.
Safety and Care
Wheels must be replaced in pairs, because mismatched wheels pull the chair to one side. Check hand rim mounting patterns if you intend to keep your existing rims on the new wheels.
