Newton Airgrip Hand Rims replace standard tubular rims with a profiled shape and a high-friction gripping surface, so the hand holds without the tight squeeze a bare aluminium rim demands.
Adjustability
Rims are wheel-specific. Check rear wheel diameter, the number of mounting holes and the clearance between rim and tyre, since some tyre profiles reduce the finger space available.
Safety and Care
A loose hand rim is a hazard, so have the rims fitted if you are unsure. The high-friction surface also reduces the palm heat and friction burns that come from braking on a downslope.
