Comfort and Build
The Explorer Standard is a general-purpose self-propel folding wheelchair. Full-size rear wheels with hand rims allow independent movement, while the cross-brace frame folds for storage and car transport.
Adjustability
Seat width comes from measured hip width plus two to four centimetres. Seat depth matters just as much: measure from the back of the buttock to the back of the knee and subtract three to five centimetres.
Safety and Care
Swing-away footrests and removable armrests make side transfers considerably safer than fixed fittings. Apply both wheel locks before every transfer and re-check them after any tyre change.
