Comfort and Build
The HP-2 extends coverage beyond the HP-1, taking in the temples and lower sides of the head, for users whose falls produce contact at the side rather than the crown.
Adjustability
Sizing uses the same measured circumference method as the HP-1. Check that the fit does not obstruct the ears or peripheral vision, particularly where hearing aids or glasses are worn.
Safety and Care
Head protection is often chosen by protection level when it should be chosen by geometry. A higher level over the wrong area is worth less than a lower one over the right area.
Suitable For
The HP-2 suits users whose falls are sideways rather than forwards or backwards, users with previous temple or ear-area contact, and situations needing more than crown coverage.
